Luckily the actual physical impact of the oil was minimal on our beaches. However, the lack of tourism in the area hurt many local businesses.
NOW is the perfect time to come to the beach! The water is as beautiful as ever, it's not too crowded ;) and you sure can grab a deal on a condo!
Life here is good.
Hopefully most, if not all, will bounce back for this terrible event. I have a few on-line friends who this has impacted directly.

Thanks Jim. I hope it doesn't take too long. Our business has been hit hard as well. Happy the claims process with BP hasn't been too difficult.
